Christmas Giveaway 2026: terms and conditions

1. Organiser

This giveaway is organised by The Iberian, Androsdreef 90, 3562 XC Utrecht, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 95732993, email contact@theiberian.store ("we", "us").

2. Period

You can enter from 3 October 2026 until 19 December 2026 at 23:59 (Dutch time). Entries received after this time are not valid.

3. Who can take part

• Anyone aged 18 or older who lives in the Netherlands.
• The owners of The Iberian cannot take part.

4. How to enter

• Fill in the form on theiberian.nl/pages/spanish-christmas-giveaway with your first name and email address, and accept these terms.
• One entry per person. Entering more than once does not increase your chances. Entries using false details or multiple identities are excluded.

5. Free to enter

Taking part is free and no purchase is needed. There are no costs other than your normal internet costs. Signing up for our emails is optional and has no effect on your chance of winning.

6. The prize

There is one prize: a Christmas box from The Iberian containing:

• 100% Ibérico de Bellota ham, hand-carved, D.O.P. Guijuelo (100 g)
• 100% Ibérico de Bellota chorizo (100 g)
• 100% Ibérico de Bellota salchichón (100 g)
• 100% Ibérico de Bellota lomo (100 g)
• D.O.P. Manchego sheep's cheese (wedge, 0.3–0.4 kg)
• Mi Olivo extra virgin olive oil, D.O.P. Bajo Aragón (250 ml)
• "Chupadedos" marinated olives (1 kg jar, 525 g drained)

The total retail value is €90.50 (incl. VAT).

• If a product is unavailable, we replace it with a product of at least the same value.
• If the winner has an allergy or dietary requirement, they can contact us and we will try to adapt the contents to products of the same value.
• The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
• The winner pays nothing for the prize. Any games of chance tax (kansspelbelasting) is paid by us.

7. The draw

• The winner is drawn on 20 December 2026 at random from all valid entries, using a random number generator. We record the draw.
• If the winner does not meet these terms, we draw a new winner in the same way.

8. Contacting the winner

• We contact the winner by email within 2 days of the draw.
• The winner must reply within 7 days to claim the prize. If we don't hear back in time, we draw a new winner.
• With the winner's permission, we announce their first name on our social media.

9. Delivery

We deliver the prize free of charge to an address in the Netherlands, or the winner can collect it from us, whichever they prefer. If the winner replies in time, we aim to deliver before Christmas, and in any case within 3 months of the draw.

10. Other rules

• We may exclude anyone who breaks these terms or acts fraudulently.
• If circumstances outside our control require it, we may change or end the giveaway, but never to the disadvantage of participants. We will announce any change on the giveaway page.
• We are not liable for technical problems that prevent an entry from being received, except in case of intent or gross negligence on our part.
• These terms can be viewed and saved free of charge on the giveaway page, and we will send them to anyone who asks.

11. Questions and complaints

Questions or complaints can be sent to contact@theiberian.store. We reply within 14 days.

12. Code of conduct and applicable law

This giveaway complies with the Dutch Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance (Gedragscode Promotionele Kansspelen 2014). Dutch law applies to these terms.

Privacy notice

Who is responsible for your data

The Iberian (see section 1) is the controller of the personal data collected through this giveaway.

What we collect

Your first name, email address, whether you signed up for our emails, and the date and time you entered.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

• To run the giveaway (checking entries, drawing and contacting the winner, delivering the prize). Basis: carrying out the giveaway you entered (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To send you our emails (Spanish food curiosities, new delicacies, recipes, stories from our producers, exclusive offers and giveaways), only if you ticked the box. Basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email or by emailing us.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use Klaviyo (our email platform) and Shopify (our website) to process your data on our behalf. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States; where they do, they use safeguards approved by the European Commission, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

• If you did not sign up for our emails, we delete your entry details no later than 3 months after the draw (by 20 March 2027).
• If you signed up for our emails, we keep your email address and first name until you unsubscribe.
• For the winner, we keep the details needed to deliver the prize and meet our administrative and tax obligations for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a copy of it. Email contact@theiberian.store. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
